Accepting the Challenge of Excellence Award (A.C.E.).
The Exchange Club of Jascksonville Beaches
 

The Exchange Club of Jacksonville Beaches has selected Jadeon Stage, Fletcher High School senior, as recipient of their Accepting the Challenge of Excellence Award (A.C.E.). The annual award recognizes high school students who have had to overcome physical, emotional or social obstacles and are now eligible for high school graduation. Jadeon and her guests, the Paul and Nora Santiago family,  were hosted at a recent breakfast meeting of the Beaches Exchange Club where she was presented with a plaque and $1000

scholarship check. She will also be recognized at the Fletcher Senior Student Awards program on May 28th.

           

The daughter of Kim Stage, of Pennsylvania, Jadeon has achieved a 3.7 average at Fletcher High School. Already accepted at FCCJ, she plans to major in performing arts and pursue further education at New York University.

           

Jadeon has been co-captain of Fletcher’s Varsity Cheerleaders, a three-year member of the Ladies Chamber Chorus and the Multi-cultural Club, and has participated on Fletcher’s track and basketball teams in addition to Beaches Gymnastics.  Jadeon has been active in community service activities including working with BEAM, the Jacksonville Prayer Meeting, assisting at the Boys and Girls Club community hour, and volunteering for the Breast Cancer Marathon.

 
She lists singing, dancing, acting and physical fitness as her hobbies. Her employment includes food preparation and cashier experiences.
