All clubs in the Florida District are encouraged to participate in the District Awards Program. To enter the competition, the appropriate awards applications must be timely completed and submitted as specified in the attached instructions. The Florida District Exchange Clubs will present club and individual awards for the Florida District in the following manner:

All awards will be presented at the Florida District Convention in May. The awards period will be from July 1st through April l5th for the following awards:

BEST NEW AMERICANISM PROJECT

BEST CLUB PROGRAM

BEST OVERALL CLUB FUND RAISING AWARD

BEST SCRAPBOOK *

CONVENTION ATTENDANCE

Note: For the above Club Awards, there are three competition categories based on the club size as of July 1 (the beginning of the administrative year). The club does not change membership categories during the year. The categories are:

(1). Clubs with 30 and fewer members, and

(2). Clubs with 31 to 60 members.

(3) Clubs with 61 members or more

*Scrapbook is for clubs with 50 or more, and 49 or fewer members.

BEST BULLETIN

The Best Bulletin Awards period will be from July 1 through March 1. To be in conformity with the National Awards categories, the two Best Bulletin categories are:

(1). Clubs with 49 members or less, and

(2). Clubs with 50 members or more.

NOTE: To be eligible to compete for any District Award, the individual or club must be in good standing. To be eligible to compete, a CLUB must be

(1). Represented at the Convention, and

(2). Current with all dues, both National and District including convention fees.

Applications and other requirements must be properly completed and timely submitted as specified in the attached instructions for each award.

At the discretion of the Awards Chairperson and judging committee(s), all awards may NOT be awarded

each year. For additional information, contact the District Awards Chairperson or your District Director.
