BEST NEW FUND RAISING AWARD

The online awards application must be submitted by April 15th to be eligible for the Best New Club Fund Raising competition.

Substantiating evidence must be included as part of the report. Examples of evidence are copies of photos, club newsletters, and other documentation. Emails these to the District Awards Chairperson after you have submitted the online awards application.

Competition Category:  There is only one category for this award. All clubs are eligible. This should be the fist year this fundraiser was held .

Awards Period: The awards period will be from July 1st through April 15th. To qualify, the program selected for competition must have occurred during the competition period. OR A club program which takes place from April 15^th through June 30^th  (the end of the administrative year) may be considered for entry for the next year's award.

Send to: All applications will be available on line & be able to be e-mailed as follows:.

(1)    Send one copy to the District Awards Chairperson.

(2)    Send one copy to your District Director.

Deadline Date: April 15th. The awards applications must be RECEIVED by April 15th by both the District Awards Chairperson and your District Director to have your club eligible for the Outstanding Club Fund Raising competition. Faxes are NOT acceptable.

Preparing the Report: The typed or printed report must describe the program in detail, including a) the name of the program, b) the name of the program chairperson, c) date(s) the program was held, and d) detailed description of the program, including amount of funds raised, where the program was held. The following application should be completed, or a report prepared in the same format to include all the specified information.

The Outstanding Club Fund Raising Awards will be presented at the Florida District Convention in May. A competing club must be represented, and a member or members of the club MUST be in attendance at the Convention for the club to win the award.
